Christmas Wreath Making Workshops at Weyhill
Learn to make your own Christmas wreath with us, taught by the florists who make them for the shop every day.
Our workshops are relaxed and completely beginner friendly. You do not need any experience and you do not need to bring a thing. We put everything you need on the table, show you how we do it, then help at your shoulder while you make your own. Small groups mean there is always time for a proper answer to your question, and your wreath is yours to take home.

This year we are running two sessions, twenty-five places, £60 per person for two hours. Everything provided, your wreath home with you, refreshments throughout. Book below.

The Christmas wreath workshop
2 hours · £60 per person · The Village Hall, Weyhill
A proper wreath, made the way we make them for the shop, on a real frame rather than a glued ring. You will learn how to build up foliage so the wreath sits full and even, then dress it your way from the table of trimmings: cones, dried orange, cinnamon, berries and ribbon.
No two wreaths leave the same, and looked after it will still be going strong into the new year. Tea, coffee and something festive to nibble are on us, with refreshments available throughout your time with us.

Tools on the table
Snips, wire, twine and an apron. Bring nothing but yourself.
Small groups
Taught by our own florists, who make wreaths for the shop every day of the season.
Yours to take home

Private wreath workshops and evenings
Book the whole table and make it your own event. Friends and family, birthdays, hen parties, gardening clubs, and work Christmas dos with a difference. We will run a private wreath making session on a date that suits you, at the shop or at your venue for larger groups, subject to staff and hall availability.

Wreath workshops for businesses
A wreath making session makes a good staff or client event in the run-up to Christmas, and it is a bit different from the usual meal out or quiz night. We run these both at our workshop space in Weyhill and at your premises, for teams of any size.

A wreath workshop place makes a lovely present, and it lasts longer than a bunch of flowers. Tell us who it is for and we will sort a gift card by post or email, so they can book onto a session that suits them.
Tips for your Wreath Workshop
- Come five or ten minutes early so we can start on time
- Wear something you do not mind getting a little sappy, and bring an apron if you have one
- The room is at ground level with step free access
- Wreaths travel best flat, so bring a box or a large bag for the journey home
- If you cannot get your wreath home, we can drop it off at your door after the sessions, just ask us on the day
- Tell us about allergies or dietary needs when you book and we will work round them
Questions people ask
- Do I need any experience?
- None at all. Most people who come have never done this before, and the session is built for that. If you have some experience and want to push on, say so and we will stretch you.
- Can I come on my own?
- Plenty of people do, and it is a friendly couple of hours around one table. You will not be the only one there by yourself.
- How long will my wreath last?
- Made on fresh foliage and kept outside on the door, it should look good right through Christmas and into the new year. We will show you how to keep it at its best.
- Can I bring a drink?
- Yes. Tea, coffee and something to nibble are on us. Bring a bottle if you would like one.
- Can I book for a group?
- Yes, up to six places in one booking, all in the same session. For more than six, call us and we will sort it.
- What if I can't come?
- Full refund up to 15 November. After that the flowers are already ordered, so no refund, but your place can go to someone else or become a credit note.
- Can I pay on the day?
- No, places are confirmed by payment when you book. It keeps the sessions fair on numbers.
- Do you run wreath evenings for businesses?
- We do, both here and at your premises. Get in touch with rough numbers and a date and we will quote it.
- What if a business booking needs to change?
- Refund terms vary by workshop and are confirmed at the time of booking.
