Picket Piece is east of Andover, and unlike its neighbour Picket Twenty it was already a village before the builders arrived, around ninety houses, with roughly nine hundred more added since the mid-2010s. We deliver to all of it: Walworth Road and Locksbridge Road through the older part, and the newer streets around them, Mulberry Road, Mundy Road, Bullfinch Road, Errington Road, Galbraith Road, Heathcote Road and Painters Meadow.

The Harrow Way, the old road between Whitchurch and Andover, ran through here long before any of the rest of it. The village church started life as the Harroway Mission, named after it.

We deliver here every day of the week. Order by 2pm Monday to Saturday, or 1pm on Sunday, for same-day delivery.

The village hall does a lot of the work here. Picket Piece Village Hall and Social Club on Walworth Road is the centre of village life, it takes weddings, christenings, birthdays and wakes, and it has a licensed bar and a social club attached. We deliver and set up there often enough to know the room. If you are booking it for a function and want flowers, come and see us and tell us which hall and how the tables are laid out; it makes a real difference to what works.

Sympathy and funeral flowers. There is no funeral director in the village, so families here use the Andover firms, Dunning, S and J Maddocks or the Co-op, and we deliver to all three, and on to Charlton Park Crematorium at Charlton Down. If you have been asked for family flowers only and are not sure what that means in practice, phone us and we will explain it.

An older village with new streets around it. That mix means we send two quite different things to Picket Piece. To the older houses, a lot of standing orders, anniversary flowers and sympathy work. To the newer streets, housewarmings and new baby flowers. If you tell us which part of the village you are sending to, we will pitch it accordingly. The One Stop on Locksbridge Road is the village shop, and there is a sports pavilion with tennis courts and a pitch on the recreation ground.
