Stockbridge is about eleven miles south of us, down the Test valley, and we deliver into SO20 and the villages around it, Longstock, Houghton, Leckford, Chilbolton, the Wallops and King's Somborne.

The High Street is the widest in the area for a reason: it was a drovers' road, and Welsh cattle were walked down it to market. There is still a Welsh inscription on one of the old drovers' inns. We deliver to the shops and businesses along it, to the Grosvenor, the White Hart and the Three Cups, and to the houses on New Street, Roman Road and the lanes running off towards the water.

Stockbridge is our longest regular run and we still do it every day. Order by 2pm Monday to Saturday, or 1pm on Sunday, and it will be with you the same day.

Fishing, and the flowers that come with it. Stockbridge is a fishing town, the Test here is about as well known as chalk stream fishing gets, and a good part of what we send is thank-you flowers after a day on the water, or arrangements for the lodges and hotels putting up rods for the week. If you need something for a host, tell us it is going to a fishing house and we will keep it low, unscented and out of the way of a dining table.

Weddings and events. Houghton Lodge and Gardens, just south of the town, is a genuinely lovely setting, a late-eighteenth-century cottage orné with topiary and a grotto, and we are happy to deliver and set up there. The riverside inns take functions too. As with any wedding, come and see us at the shop rather than ordering online.

Funerals. There is no funeral director based in Stockbridge itself; most families here use the Andover firms or one of the Winchester ones, and we deliver to all of them. St Peter's in the High Street is where most Stockbridge funerals are held.

Stockbridge has an older population than most of our area, so for weekly or fortnightly flowers we also do a subscription that runs for three, six or twelve months and is delivered on the same day each time. If you would rather buy from a shop you can walk into, Stockbridge has its own florist and we would not pretend otherwise. What we offer is a daily run from a full workshop, same-day delivery seven days a week, a proper funeral range, wedding work and subscriptions, for the times when that suits you better.
